What is Lymphatic Drainage and How Can it Help You?

ree

His sinuses were killing him. A three-day headache had become old two days ago. One of his debilitating migraines was developing. “HELP!” he pleaded. Using nothing more than his own body systems, we lowered the sinus pressure, started to reverse the potential migraine, and gave him enough relief to get a good night’s sleep. Over the next two days his sinuses mostly cleared, the migraine never happened and his work out was easier. How? We started draining his lymphatic system! What is that? It is part of your waste system.

“Inflammation” has become a buzzword in the mainline medical community the last few years. But many holistic practitioners have been emphasizing proper fluid movement in the body for decades. Your muscles, organs and brain all produce lymph, a whitish, slightly thick fluid that, in excessive amounts, can make you feel lousy.

Many understand how important it is for the blood to move properly. Well, it is just as important for your lymph to move equally as well. A 74-year-old client saw me to help with how her legs looked (yes, it helps with that too). A week later when she stood up following a movie with her friends, she was shocked to feel no pain in her low back from sitting for two hours! Without the excess fluid, her hips and back could move as they were intended.

This is why lymphatic drainage is so important. Many walk around, their entire body like a swollen twisted ankle, and they wonder why they hurt. It is too much fluid. Manual lymphatic drainage kick starts and retrains the body to pump the waste off of your body. So if you have problems with inflammation try lymphatic drainage.

Take Care,

Al
